Our Partners

Sure Statistics is committed to empowering students and communities with data literacy and critical thinking skills. Through hands-on workshops, partnerships, and dedicated outreach, especially in underserved areas, we have helped students uncover patterns, interpret data, and make informed decisions that shape their futures. Our goal is to make statistics education accessible, relevant, and actionable for all. We strive to close educational gaps, inspire a lifelong love of learning, and give every young person the confidence to use data in making choices that benefit themselves and their communities.

Manhattanville Community Center

We have partnered with Manhattanville Community Center’s Youth Basketball team under Coach James McNeill. Andrew Chang and Jake Reilly record data during tournaments and games. This allows the team to statistically analyze their offensive and defensive strategy during timeouts. The data is then used for training, where players can see where they can identify areas of excellence or gaps in their game.

At Manhattanville Community Center, Sure Statistics also hosts workshops and lessons. For middle school grades six through eight, the Sure Statistics curriculum is taught. Through this statistics education not provided in school curricula, students are exposed to the ways numbers tell stories, patterns reveal truths, and informed decisions shape futures. Workshops are provided for all ages, and cover content from historical data to financial statistics.

The Alliance for Decision Education

In 2024, we launched our partnership with The Alliance for Decision Education to address the critical gap in decision-making education across American schools. Together, we work to expand outreach and increase exposure on educational inequality through strategic social media campaigns and content creation. This collaboration combines Sure Statistics’ expertise in data literacy and statistical thinking with the Alliance’s nationwide advocacy for decision education. Our joint efforts focus on empowering students with the analytical and decision-making skills essential for navigating an increasingly complex, data-driven world. By amplifying each other’s missions, we aim to influence policy, reach underserved communities, and demonstrate how statistics education serves as a foundation for informed decision-making and educational equity.
